Hi, Welcome to your newly created Homepage space.

To access your homepage space, you will need the details that were supplied to you via an e-mail message from the Paradise Webmaster. This e-mail message contains your specific FTP details. You will require these details to upload your own webpage to this space.

We do not support Microsoft Frontpage extensions on our Homepages server, however you can use Frontpage to create your site if you wish.

You will need some FTP [File Transfer Protocol] Software to be able to connect to our server and upload your pages. We recommend that you use CuteFTP, which is available from www.cuteftp.com, though any FTP client should work.

Naming Conventions:

When you connect to your homepage space with your FTP software, you will see a file called 'index.html'. That file is used to create this page that you are reading now. You will need to remove that 'index.html' file and replace it with your own 'index.html' file.

FTP Access to your homepage space:

You will only be able to make an FTP connection to homepages.paradise.net.nz from a valid Paradise IP Address. eg, a Paradise dial-up connection. Trying to connect from a non-Paradise Internet connection will not work.
